It’s the end of the weekend once again and tomorrow’s the start of another week. Over the weekend I was able to do the usual stuff, being with my family and having fun with mt cousins. I played some basketball with ‘em. Not only on the court but basketball on the pc as well. This time around I didn’t get my butt-kicked but instead I won (though my team didn’t won on the court)!well, its just one of the those things that I have fun doing. Another reason why I am playing basketball as of late is because its not only one of my hobbies but im warming up for the coming sportsfest at school.im going to play for my org, in fact try-out’s scheduled this Wednesday.i already played for our org for two consecutive years already and I stil haven’t won a single game yet, hopefully my last year would be better by even winning a single game.

NOTE: im not a good ball player but I do know how to play the game.

As they say; ”practice makes perfect but nobody is perfect so why practice?”(huh?ano daw?wala lang.hehe.)

UAAP

Saturday afternoon.it was an exciting day for uaap fans.the first game between nu and defending champion feu got into overtime and nu almost beat feu.if that happened,it could be considered as one of the greatest upset of the year.nu still winless as of the moment almost beat the tamaraws but sadly it were the tamaraws who prevailed,feu beat nu by a point.

The second game was between the team who hasn’t lost yet this season, the ateneo blue eagles and they were up against the adamson falcons. During the first half it was as if the falcons are again after another upset just like what they did with the archers. They lead even as high as 20 but during the third quarter the falcons’ offense went sour. They missed a lot of shots and it was during this period when the eagles catched up, lead by Jc Intal. Come the fourth quarter, the two teams went head to head, exchanging shot after shot and it all boils down in the final 10 seconds of the game.

L.A. Tenorio was bringing down the ball for ateneo with the scores tied up. As the clock ticks away, L.A. got off a screen and fired a three from downtown. Then the crowd went wild, LA’s shot went in! Ateneo edged Adamson by three points. A sorry loss for the falcons, they almost got a big upset by being the first team to beat ateneo but eventually that didn’t became a reality, the eagles came out as the better team.

Not only is this a dissapointing loss but the falcons may have lost their ace point guard, Rammil Tagupa who suffered an injury earlier in the game.now the first round is about to come to an end, lets just hope that the falcons get back on the winning track to have a slot in the final four.

As for me, I didn’t get to watch the game live but still being a falcon Im also dissapointed with our team’s loss. I really hope that our dream of being in the final four would still came into place. After back to back losses I hope that the falcons would get back on the winning margin on their next game. As for the eagles, I admire their camaraderie. After the game I can hear people chanting “Larry!Larry!” who is an injured teammate, I admire the way they support the team and every member they have on it. the eagles may have come out the better team this time but we’ll surely beat you next time.

Headphones.

during the last two weeks or so I wasn’t able to use the mp3 capability of my phone. its still not a mms capable phone just your usual mobile phone, I own a nokia 5510 by the way. It may be outdated but I love this phone mainly because of its mp3 function that only few phones offer and im lucky enough to have one(besides I don’t have any many yet to replace this phone). I wasn’t able to use it coz my headset was broken and I got a replacement earphone last december and now its also broken. Im still saving up money to buy a new one coz earphones as little as they may seem are costly. They range from the cheapest 300 bucks up to the most expensive at around 2000 pesos. The last one I bought cost 499. But timely enough my cousin, Ku’ (my short term for “kuya”) Dino gave me a new sony earphone.im using it as of the moment and the sound’s really good. if my estimation is correct I think it costs around between 500 or 600 I guess. Anyways, no matter how much it cost Im very thankful to have it. Thanks Ku’ D!
