"Pretend it's not for never,
I'll pull myself together
I'll say that I'll forget her,
I'll breathe.
And I'll say she never hurt me,
And look at it as learning,
And laugh about the good and the bad.
Because I won't live forever
We don't belong together,
I know I'll be all better,
One day when I can make it through..."

do you have a cable tv?if you do have then probably you might have an etc channel/entertainment channel. well, most of the shows there are into the "reality tv"-type of shows. there's this show on that channel (even if its shameful to admit)which i have been watching regularly. it ain't the dating game shows coz all those shows project is sex. im talking about something more on the general patronage side.i'm talking 'bout "a queer eye for a straight guy" and i really find that show very interesting.
well, the concept of the show is to transform a guy from being a "loser" (it's just concerned with the looks,ok?the guy's not a total loser) into something more attractive as compared to what he looks before. not only that, the hosts of the show even renovates the guy's pad, buy him clothes, give him gifts, teaches him how to mix clothes or basically improving his fashion sense, teaches him to mix wine, cook food or doin him a make-over,period.
i like watching the show coz i'm learning a few things from it. the show's title really says it all.it helps a guy with regards to his vanity coz men are really not that concerned with the way they look. at some instances they are but not all the time like women are (ladies,i didn't mean anythin' negative in that).
men who are vain and a little bit concious with the way they look are considered as "metro-sexuals" (something which i learned from doin our thesis) they are definitely straight its just that their vanity-practice could be similar to that of the women and i think im bein close to bein' that. why? coz i think its cool seein those men in the show transform from bein' this then that (huh?) without doin anythin much. who doesn't want to look good right? but i think what is inside matters more, even if you look good but too arrogant 'bout it or yah,you look good but your dumb then who would like you, right?
what im tryin to say here is that its better if you're beautiful inside out (hey,is this me talking?!)and that people would like you for what you are and not for the image that you would want to project. but then again, i think there's no harm in improving the way you look, right?its just nice havin' shows like that coz a lot of guys(including myself)are too shy to talk 'bout their vanity but thanks to this show then guys like me would now have ideas how to improve with the way we look or how to become presentable so to speak.
