"Pretend it's not for never,
I'll pull myself together
I'll say that I'll forget her,
I'll breathe.
And I'll say she never hurt me,
And look at it as learning,
And laugh about the good and the bad.
Because I won't live forever
We don't belong together,
I know I'll be all better,
One day when I can make it through..."

Just as what I’ve previously posted I got a job last weekend. I was a court marshall at San Miguel All-Stars Hoopsfest at SM Southmall. Basically what I did was be an assistant to the facilitators, get this, do that, guard this, tell that are some of the things assigned to me. I admit it was a tiring job, standing almost the whole day under the heat of the sun, man, talk about being toasted! Good thing I was in the atrium area inside SM Southmall the first day. My friends told me that I was lucky enough because it was really like hell out there! Well, aside from having my hard earned 600 bucks, I was able to see PBA stars in the flesh. Naming some are Alvin Patrimonio, Benjie Paras, Ronnie Magsanoc, “El Presidente” Mon Fernandez and other more. I was amazed that I was just passing by in front of them; I was a bit starstrucked to say the least. Also, Eric Altamirano (ex-Purefoods head coach) just happens to be one of my bosses. Though I was just a court marshall these stars treated my peers and me nicely. The one whom I think is the nicest of them all is Richie Ticzon. He even helped me out in putting up streamers. I had a wonderful experience but honestly if I were to do it again, I’d think twice coz my body (especially my legs) almost gave up. Now I know how hard it is to earn money. I even taught that what I earned wasn’t worth of my hard work. I now fully realized that how blessed and priveleged I am. I don’t have to work so that I could eat and study. I have a family that provides for me but someday I, myself for to provide for my own family. Im also thankful that I was able to study so that when I graduate I may land a decent job, I have nothing against blue-collar jobs but hey, your doing manual labor and your earning just a little as compared to the people who work in offices but earn twice ot even thrice these people earn. Before I never taught about these things but now I am starting to think about it. Hopefully, a year from now I’ll graduate and be part of the working force of this country. I don’t know what fates hold for me, I just hope that I’ll be able to have a job which I can earn something from and at the same time have fun and be proud of my job and the things I do.
I sent an S.O.S tonight
